Doing an Open University Course

If you are thinking about going back into education as a mature student you may think about doing an Open University course. The Open University offer a wide range of courses which can be done in sections and split over a number of years for those who cannot commit to it full time. Once you have completed one course you can then go on to complete another course towards you degree.
Funding study can be expensive and often puts many people off, but you may be eligible for a student loan which will cover your tuition fees. These loans often do not need to be paid back for a number of years after you have completed the course and usually not until you are earning above a certain amount. It is often based on a percentage, so the more you earn the quicker you will pay the loan off.
Completing an Open University course or a course at college or university can help improve your job prospects and allow you to apply for positions that you may not previously have had the qualifications for. It can help you get in to a job that you enjoy and also earn more money in the long run.
